X Games Austin has come and gone, and I must say that I rather enjoyed the new location and setup. It was convenient, easy going and a nice change of pace for X. I got to see some old friends, met some new ones, drank lots of water and acquired a farmers tan.

Click below to check out a gallery of photos I shot from 4 days on the ground and lurking around the place.

20+ Foot One-Handed Table

X Games 2013 - Big Air Practice, ride bmx, morgan wade, ryan fudger

I saw this photo on Ride's Instagram and liked it so much that I dug it up on their site to post here.

Morgan Wade with a large 1 handed table on the Mega Ramp shot by Fudger. Simplicity at very high altitudes. Morgan went on to win as well. This photo was actually shot though, but zero fugzzz given.

We’ve written down 100 random questions and assorted topics, all of which are unbeknownst to our victims. We will be asking people to pick 20 random numbers from 1-100 and then supplying them with those questions/topics to answer. Who knows what might come up!?!?!

Up next, recent and San Diego”s own Gary Young.

Ok, so here’s the deal….

A while back I came across this fancy disposable camera that had different designs (borders, hearts, etc…) on each of the frames. This seemed like a rad idea, so I bought it thinking it could be fun to mess with.

Lo and behold, X Games comes around and I figured I could take it along today and put it to use. I went to see street finals, chill a bit and took the camera along.

HOWEVER!!!! All of the frames were off inside the disposable camera, so any chance I had of lining up the photos went out the window. All of the fanciness is off center. Not my fault. I was torn about running these, but I said fuck it and decided to run it anyway (along with some captions). It was all an experiment anyway, right?? Haha… Enjoy!

I lurked around the X-Games the last 2 days and took a bunch of candid pics (click below). I knew a bunch of people would be there to capture the riding, so I wanted to go and get some behind the scenes stuff of people chilling, watching, and doing their thing.

It was good seeing everyone and congrats to all who rode in the contest.

Hit up Ride BMX for results & video. Tunney and Cody live blogged the whole thing too.

Mad respect to Anthony Napolitan.
