Vans Classics Fall 2013: Inca Pack
Vans Classics introduces the Inca pack featuring the Era, Half Cab and Sk8-Hi. Inspired by South American textile art, the pack is characterized by two Inca-styled patterns which adorn the footwear assortment for a total of six colorways. Intricate embroidery carries bright geometric shapes over each edition of the Era as the Half Cab and Sk8-Hi are further embellished with premium suede. The Inca pack arrives in two deliveries; the Era in (Inca) Blue/Black, Half Cab in (Suede/Inca) Adobe and Sk8-Hi in (Suede/Inca) True Blue varieties are available now at select Vans retailers while the rest of the collection releases in early July. Vans OTW Collection Fall 2013: Ballistic Pack
The Vans OTW Collection presents revamped renderings of the Alomar, Ludlow and Prelow this fall in the Ballistic pack. Progressive streetwear styling meets technical materialization as each silhouette is built with ballistic mesh uppers for a fresh, five-piece assortment for the forthcoming season.
The Alomar resurfaces with a duo of tonal options in Dark Grey and Black/Black. The Prelow follows up its spring 2013 debut with contrasting Black/Mint and Orange/Navy offerings which set traditional hues against color-popped UltraCush Lite outsoles. The Ludlow rounds off the pack with a solo Black/White colorway. Additional material detailing includes metal eyelets, pig suede panels, mesh liners and cotton sport laces. The Ballistic pack arrives this month at select Vans OTW Collection retailers, or hit up Vans.

Vans Classics Fall 2013: Ballistic Pack
Vans presents an assortment of upgraded Classics with the Ballistic pack this fall. Reinforced ballistic nylon is brought to the uppers of the Authentic and panels of the Half Cab for two colorways of each silhouette with additional suede construction utilized on Steve Caballero’s signature sneaker. Available in Black and Wild Dove offerings, each pair is built on Vans’ celebrated vulcanized waffle outsole for superior skate grip. The Authentic takes each hue to the floor while the Half Cab brings contrast with classic white midsole detailing. Speckled tech lacing and tonal stitching finish the Ballistic Classics for delivery this June at key Vans retailers.

Fall 2013 continues this tradition with a trio of new, vintage-inspired Authentics in the Checker pack. The Vans OTW Collection marks the intersection of progressive street style and Vans heritage – where modern design meets the original. Each season, the Vans OTW Collection reinterprets the classic Vans aesthetic into a fresh assortment of footwear inspired by street culture. Fall 2013 marks the arrival of the Disruptive pack: a raucous three-piece offering featuring the Alomar, Bedford and Ludlow in a variety of colors. Vans Classics: Van Doren Series for Fall 2013
Vans’ rich heritage comes to life in the fall installment of the Van Doren Series. With a storied past dating back to 1966, Vans reissues some of its most popular prints across an assortment of Classics.
Fall 2013 presents a seven-piece offering featuring the Authentic, Era and Sk8-Hi Reissue. Each pair is constructed with 8 oz. canvas and branded with the original Van Doren heel tab as a tribute to the early days of Vans. The Vanosaur, tribal surf, maze, leopard, checker and aloha patterns resurface for next run of the Van Doren Series but only for a limited time. The fall 2013 Van Doren Series arrives this June at select Vans accounts.

Due out this spring, the Tie Dye Classics present blue and rust editions of the Classic Slip-On and Half Cab. The Classic Slip-On is engulfed in tie dye from toe vamp to heel counter while the Half Cab produces more subdued colorways with treatment applied to the ankle, quarter and toe panels of each mid-top. Vans OTW Collection Feathers Pack for Spring 2013
The feather carries a symbolic meaning across many different cultures. For some, it stands as a symbol of good fortune – in Native American culture, the feather is a symbol of honor and strength. This spring, the Vans OTW Collection channels these sentiments into a capsule of apparel and footwear for the Feathers pack. Custom feather embroidery adorns three silhouettes; the Lasdun, Ludlow and Howell exhibit the pattern on each set of canvas quarter panels. Tonal pig suede detailing, waxed laces, metal eyelet and laser-etched tongue branding completes the selection of sneakers. Additional usage of the custom embroidered motif can be seen throughout the Myers short and Eldridge 5-Panel. The Flock tee rounds off the apparel assortment with screen printed feather graphics pressed against the lightweight cotton top.
The Feathers pack ships this March to select retailers as the final spring offering from the Vans OTW Collection.

Vans Workwear Pack for Spring 2013
Vans presents Americana-inspirations across a collection of apparel and footwear for this spring’s Workwear pack. Durable materials meet vintage workwear styling for two takes on the Langard jacket and Chukka Boot. Available in dirt and charcoal, the lightweight Langard is Vans’ approach to the buttoned-up utility jacket featuring several pocket compartments, corduroy collar detailing and adjustable cuffs. The Chukka Boot sports an aesthetic influenced by the traditional work boot bringing heavy duty canvas uppers and reinforced metal eyelets to the classic mid-top for olive night and spice colorways. The Workwear pack is available now at select Vans retailers.

Van Doren Series Classics for Spring 2013
The spring season rolls out the next installment of the Van Doren Series from Vans Classics. Vans revives long-gone prints on two styles of the Era and three makes of the Authentic. The Era presents a funky two-tone treatment which is inspired by custom sneakers from Vans’ early days when customers could create their own color-ups in-store. Designers recreated two pairs of vintage custom Eras with the Checker/Green Flash and Hawaiian/Red colorways. The Authentic reintroduces a trio of prints last seen in the early ‘90s for its Leopard/Black, Parrot/Light Blue and Retro Flag offerings. Each piece of footwear is finished off with an enzyme wash treatment and the original Van Doren heeltab branding. The Van Doren Series Authentics and Eras are available now at select Vans retailers.

With the warmth of spring in near sight, the Vans California Collection presents the Tweed pack for the lingering wet weather of winter. Premium wool tweed dresses two styles of the 159 CA, a newer silhouette which pairs the aesthetic of the 106 Vulcanized with the heel accents of the Era 59, with the cold in mind. Leather heel mustache, antiqued lacing hardware and traditional vulcanized waffle outsole construction complete the Dark Shadow and Forest Night colorways of the 159 CA.

The forthcoming season of the Vans California Collection presents a five-piece offering with the Suedes pack. Two heritage silhouettes sport soft tones and deluxe materials for this capsule comprised of the suede Mid Skool ’77 CA in Bone Brown and Niagara colorways alongside the pig suede Era 59 CA in Cendre Blue, Duffle Bag and Rubber renderings. When the temperature drops, it’s important to have footwear that protects you against the elements. That’s why Vans offers Classics options updated with materials that will brave cold weather. A six-pack offering including the 106 Vulcanized, Era and Mid Skool ‘77 are available in water resistant pig suede promoting both style and function. Additionally, the Mid Skool ’77 and Era are lined with a soft fleece for an extra layer of warmth. Another style designed to keep feet dry this holiday season is the Outdoor Switchback. The rugged and comfortable silhouette is made from the same water-resistant pig suede and includes waxed laces that repel water.
