I just read this article at lunch (on my iPhone using the NY Times App) about people making lots of money by developing iPhone apps. The article showcases a few different people’s stories, but the main developer, Ethan Nicholas, on his peek day, made $35,000 in 24 hours off the royalties from his app iShoot. Pretty nuts!

When we pay with cash, we put less cash back in our pocket. A real-time reminder that we’re slightly poorer than we were a few seconds ago. But after paying with a card, the card goes back in the clip looking exactly the same, leaving us with only a vague idea of what we have left.
