My desktop is a mess and it’s time for another dump of images. Keep reading to check out all the random stuff I’ve saved over the past month or so.

On My Desktop

I keep my computer pretty organized most of the time and I try to keep my desktop free from any files… but sometimes things get a bit crazy and files start piling up… Right now I have a bunch of random stuff saved from random blogs and my desktop is a mess, so before I filed them away, I thought I do a random image dump… so keep reading to check out what’s on my desktop right now!

p.s. thanks to easy on the extras for a bunch of this stuff…

Alistair Whitton House Check

Ali’s got a rad house check on ESPN at his new huge pad in PA. Check out all the photos on ESPN and keep an eye out for a little art project Ali and I worked on a few years ago!

Joseph Dirand Architecture

Joseph Dirand Architecture is an architecture and interior design firm based out of Paris. I stumbled across their work wile doing an image hunt for Balmain stuff and was drawn into the flagship store that they design for the brand in Paris. The interiors combine a great mix of minimal and luxury and have been keeping me inspired for days. I’m also really loving the photography on their site which was shot by photographer Adrien Dirand.

Freunde von Freunden

If you are into interior design or websites like The Selby, then you should check out Freunde von Freunden, a German based site that takes a look into peoples homes, studios, work spaces, etc. There are interviews that go along with each photo story, but most of them are in German. Check out the site and keep reading to see a few images from the latest post with Berlin Illustrator, Olaf Hajek.

Inspiration Dump

As much as you guys might think, I don’t spend that much time on image blogs or ffffound… But tonight was a different story. I got lost in the vortex and by the end of the night, I had a bunch of random stuff on my descktop. Rather than just throwing it into my inspiration folders, I thought I’d do a quick post… Hope you enjoy!

Roman and Williams Video

We posted on the interior design studio–Roman and Williams–back in March, but the guys at The Scout along with the subject of one of our Defgrip Originals, Ed David, put together a great video giving you a indepth look into their office as well as other work. The visuals are amazing and it’s definitely a well put together, captivating piece.

Roman and Williams

Roman and Willams is an amazing New York based interior designer firm that’s behind such projects like the Ace Hotel and Standard hotel in New York, among other things. Last night I spent an hour or so getting lost in their portfolio and for some reason when I woke up this morning all I wanted to do was tear my house apart, go thrift shopping and re-do the whole place…

Delfin–Postigo House

White floors, white walls, and amazing artwork is what drew me into the house of fashion designer David Delfin and photographer Gorka Postigo in Madrid, Spain. There’s a great feature on Yatzer showcasing the house that is definitely worth a few minutes of your day.

Wieden + Kenedy London Offices

Architecture blog Dezeen posted some photos and info about the new London offices for one of Defgrip’s favorite design firms Wieden + Kennedy. Featherstone Yong, a London studio is responsible for the project in which they re-vamped an old brewery across the street from the old Wieden + Kennedy London offices. “utilizing the height of the existing shell to create a series of mezzanines and crows’ nests for creative contemplation. These mezzanines allow for visual connection between larger workspaces and more intimate ones”

Inspiration: I Could Live Here

I compiled a collection of my favorite interior/architecture photos that I’ve saved over the past year or so. I’m always collecting image that inspire me and I thought it would be cool to do some big inspiration dumps like this once in a while. I did the black and white post a few months back, so here’s the second post in what I hope to be a on-going series.
