Another annual journey to the desert (Interbike) to look at bikes/bike parts has come and gone. Click below to get a look at the goings-on through various Instagram pics that I've gathered during the show.

So yeah, the annual BMX pilgrimage to hell Las Vegas (otherwise known as Interbike) just went down in case you hadn’t noticed elsewhere. For me, the best part of it all is always seeing friends, meeting new people and talking with everyone. So cheers to that!

Here are the Nora Cup results:
#1 Ramp Rider – Dennis Enarson
#1 Dirt Jumper – Chris Doyle (2nd year in a row)
#1 Flatlander – Moto Sasaki
#1 Street Rider – Garrett Reynolds (58,776 year in a row)
#1 Racer – Marc Willers
Best Video Part – Dennis Enarson in Demolition’s “Last Chance”
Video of the Year – Anthem II (Stew Johnson)

If you wanna OD on bike parts, visit The Union and Ride BMX. For all kinds of Nora Cup stuff (like the photo seen above featuring that handsome devil in the Defgrip shirt), visit Ride BMX. And again, shout out to the Ride BMX crew for organizing Nora year after year.

Til next year!

2010 S&M Rail Jam Edit

Here’s an edit from this years Rail Jam that S&M put on at Interbike. This is good because I was basically looking at the back of peoples heads the whole time, haha…

Courtesy of Larry Alvarado.

Thanks to Dave Jacobs for sending this through.

Cult Interbike Promo

Here’s a Cult promo that was playing during Interbike. It’s 10 minutes and does not let down.

Thanks to Navazio and Robbie for hooking this up.

Soooooo, another year of Interbike has come and gone. You may have already seen a bunch of coverage from the show, but in case you missed anything, go HERE, HERE, or scour BMX FEED.

Besides getting to see and chill with everyone (which is the best part of Interbike), the overall most memorable moment for me/everyone was Chris Doyle winning Dirt Rider of the Year. That dude rules. Seeing Hoder go crazy with Doyle’s Nora Cup was equally as classic, haha…

Click below to check out a video of that, courtesy of Ride BMX.

Shout out to Corey Martinez and United too.

The Trip Remix

Here’s a remix of THIS edit that the Trip dudes made for Interbike.

Shout out to Miles Rogoish and Ty Morrow.

2010 S&M Rail Jam

Moeller sent through a confirmed list of riders in this years rail jam at Interbike.

Interbike 09!

Well I Just got home and I’m still recouping from interbike! I got word or “twitword”, that a bunch of people got sick shortly after leaving, makes sense! With the dramatic and constant change in climate, there being 100’s of people constantly surrounding you, + the never ending booze factor, I guess something had to happen eventually, right? well with that being said, I think these were taken while everyone was still well! of course this isn’t everyone that was there, just the people we saw maybe a hundred or so times as opposed to fifty or so times throughout the few days we were there!

Thanks to Ricky for the link.

mike hoder

Most of the Defgrip crew has been down in Vegas for Interbike. We’ve all been having a blast and will do a big photo dump when we get home from the show. For now, enjoy the photo of Mike Hoder going off at NORA Cup!

Somehow Moeller convinced the suits at Interbike to have a rail jam in the BMX Section. This will be good.

Interbike Portraits

This year at interbike I took a different approch when it came to documenting the show. I was inspired by an article on Anna Bauer in a recent Interview magazine. Anna travels to all the big fashion shows, taking portraits of key people who make fashion shows what they are. I didn’t get to shoot everyone that I wanted to shoot and I did loose a roll of film with a hand full of photos from the last few days, but none the less, I’m psyched on what I got.

Check out the Interbike Portraits here.

I just got back from Interbike in Vegas, but I’m sorry to say that I didn’t really go around and take many pics for you guys. Ride BMX is better at covering Interbike than I am anyway, so please hit them up to check everything out.

However, a few notable things from me would be THIS PIC OF ME AND CRU JONES, and the new Skavenger New Era hats that Vinnie showed me. The hats look real good and should be available around December or so. And just in case you haven’t seen it yet…POP OFF.

Verde/Pendleton Giveaway Postponed

The latest news from the Verde camp at Interbike is that Don Pendleton is sick with Pneumonia. Which means that he’s chilling in Ohio and not at Interbike, which means that the live customization/giveaway I talked about here is now postponed until a later date.

Most likely the Verde/Don Pendleton custom bike giveaway will now take place online. When we get the date I’ll pass it on to all of you. If you’re bored at Interbike, I suggest heading to the Greenhouse booth anyway and asking Lou Capparelli to tell you the story of how he once rammed into a stopped Nissan Altima while doing 50mph on a foggy east coast highway in the DK truck/trailer with me in the passenger seat.

Get well soon Don!

Don Pendleton & Verde @ Interbike 4 Stephen

Baddass artist Don Pendleton will be custom painting a Verde bike at the Greenhouse booth at Interbike this week. If you’re at the show, stop by the booth on Wednesday to see the magic happen in person. By donating $5 to the Stephen Murray fund, you’ll be entered into a drawing to win that same one-of-a-kind custom Verde bike.

Special thanks to Odyssey for outfitting the Verde/Pendleton bike with a parts kit.
