R.I.P. Paxton’s Trails

Heath Pinter hooked up the following statement regarding the recent plowing of Paxton’s Trails, which have been a big part of the California trail scene in recent years.

So as you have heard, Paxton trails are no longer. Like most trail spots getting plowed, it started with a neighbor who complained. Not sure what the complaints were or what neighbor. We did have options with the city to permit the jumps with a very high price tag. Paxton’s trails were running for 6 years with plenty of good times and most of the neighbors support. If there is anything I will miss, it was all the good times with people traveling through. It still amazes me on the people who traveled out to ride with us. On a positive note we are building a new spot that will be running asap. Thanks again to Lonnie Paxton and all the people who made it out to ride or hit the jams.

5×5: Heath Pinter

Heath Pinter has been in Vancouver over the past few days riding and filming, so we took a break from riding some parks yesterday to get a 5×5 interview going. 5 random top 5’s answered on the spot. Check it out!

New Giant Ads

Mike Dytri, the designer behind all the old Mosh stuff and now Giant, has posted a few shots of the new Giant ads on the Ludwig (his clothing company) blog.

Check out the ads here!

Despite the fact that I walked away with a broken collarbone after a good day of riding, Heath’s annual jam went over as good as can be. A lot of rad people showed up to shred and have a good time. I can’t write much more since typing with one hand sucks.

Giant Camo

Mike Dytri, who’s been doing the art direction for MOSH/Giant BMX for the past 8 years, just posted a few photos of his new Giant Method on the blog for his clothing company, Ludwig. He had his bike custom painted by Heath Pinter and it’s looking dope. He also posted an old Mosh ad with Heath Pinter’s custom camo frames he did years back. I’ve always loved Mosh’s ads and it’s rad to see the camo one again!

Check it out on the Ludwig blog.
