Rich just sent over a sneak peek of Chase Dehart’s Lotek shoe.
According to Rich, Chase’s shoe is based off a slimmed down throwback and will have double thick insoles and a stiffer/more durable sole compound, as will the rest of the 09 Lotek line.
Full pic after the gap jump, and keep checking Lotek for info.
I love The Sartorialist because, in addition to running his blog on top of his day job, his posts are always so eloquently written. He approaches fashion as a fan, rather than a know-it-all jaded “everything sucks” type. Anyone can knock bad fashion, and sometimes it’s funny to read, but The Sartorialist has no time for that. He merely observes what’s happening and highlights the good stuff, using his keen eye to spot great looks all over the world and articulating exactly what he likes about them, fully conveying the mood. I like that he sometimes shows “interesting” looks that he’s not fully sold on, but for the most part, avoiding lameness.
The new issue of Inquiring Mind magazine is online with a nice click-through shopping article titled “the Buyer’s Buyble”. This has been up for a couple of weeks now; forgive my lag but you’ve still got 1.5 weeks before Christmas so here you go.
Make sure you keep the volume up because the soundtrack is an instrumental which seems to be based on The Big Tymers’ Still Fly.
About a year ago Derek Adams asked if I would be down to do a custom pair of Vandever 2s for Orchid…
My friend Nin Troung has a rad feature up on the Complex site. Nin is an owner of Goods, Manik, and Maiden Noir and this video focus’s on Nin’s creative process and ides with his clothing company, Maiden Noir. You get to see a bunch of the clothing, swatches, and his sketches, but beware of the really annoying pop up ads!
Check out Nin’s video after the jump – Continue reading Maiden Noir →
I just got back from Interbike in Vegas, but I’m sorry to say that I didn’t really go around and take many pics for you guys. Ride BMX is better at covering Interbike than I am anyway, so please hit them up to check everything out.
However, a few notable things from me would be THIS PIC OF ME AND CRU JONES, and the new Skavenger New Era hats that Vinnie showed me. The hats look real good and should be available around December or so. And just in case you haven’t seen it yet…POP OFF.
Click below for more pics.
Some photos poped up on Hypebeast the other day of a hat colab between The Shadow Conspracy and Black Lightning. The hat is looking dope and I’m loving all the inside details. Check out more photos after the jump.
