Check out a short little feature about Krink on CNN that I came across on the Supertouch blog. Krink is a company started by graffiti writer KR and even though the piece is short, it is a nice reflection of how you can take something that you are passionate about and turn it into a brand.
Check out the Federal site for an amazing video from Bruce Chrisman. The part is from the Federal Remix video and he has some amazing stuff in there. They’ll be posting more sections from the video on the site so make sure to keep your eye out for em.
I came across this photo site called Streetstars-NYC through one of my Flickr contacts. I enjoyed clicking through all the pics, but then again I like cityscapes, graffiti and dilapidated train tracks.
At a time when the music industry is in a state of disarray it takes some serious balls to start a record label. Get Familiar is the second release on the fledgling label One Handed Music and proves that there’s still a market for tangible forms of music if it’s good enough. It’s been a long time since I’ve been so into a hip-hop release. I’m not going to better House Shoes quote on hearing it for the first time though:
They might take a bit to load, but they are definitely worth the wait. The highly anticipated party photos from Elevation. And yes, that is tequila going directly into Adam Aloise’s eye.
I just came across Ryan Partridge’s blog via the FBM page, and proceeded to spend an extended period of time looking at everything that was posted. Sorry if this is old news to some of you.
Ryan’s blog is essentially an archive of all things S&M bikes. If you are an older rider, you should check it out for some memories. If you are a younger rider, you should go there for some history. The page brought back so many memories, and the whole S&M/P.O.W/S.H.L/Cali thing was basically the best shit ever when I was coming up.
I don’t know you Ryan, but thanks for doing the site. Check out Ryan’s page HERE.
I was listening to Pandora online, when all of a sudden Craig Mack’s “Flava in ya ear” remix came on. For some odd reason I started to crack up and proceeded to look for the video on YouTube, since everything is there.
I remember this shit when it came out, and it was kinda popular at the time, especially with the crew involved. Craig Mack is pretty much one hit wonder status from what I remember, but at least he got on a remix with Biggie. I’m not sure how popular Craig was outside of New York, but click the video and enjoy this old school posse cut. Biggie is worth watching alone.
