Imagine living in a colorless world…It has to be so depressing. In this Academy Award nominated, animated short, titled More, Mark Osborne tells the story of a lonely inventor, whose colorless existence is brightened only by dreams of the carefree bliss of his youth.
Breathing Earth is a site dedicated to displaying carbon emission throughout the world based on the most up to date data. It also displays how many people are born and die from the time you start watching the site. It’s pretty interesting if you have a moment to spare.
I have no idea how I never new about Nieves, but through the Arkitip site I came across a link to this incredible independent publishing house. Based out of Zurich, Switzerland, they have an amazing catalog of zines by the likes of Kevin Lyons, Mike Mills, Geoff McFetridge, Peter Sutherland, Ari Marcopoulos, and so many more. Not all the zines in their catalog are still in print, but you can find a great selection in their online store and with most of their publications going for around $20, you can’t go wrong.

I was surfing the other day and stumbled upon what seems to be the worlds most appealing desk. Designed by a company called Milk and built by Scandinavian furniture gurus Holmris Hansen (who have built furniture for about 100 years now.) The desk is simple, it has a sleek aesthetic, smart function and thanks to Holmris Hansen, good quality.
