My good buddy, Stewart Munro from Brisbane, Australia sent me over this edit. It stars Colin Mackay and Corey Bohan and was filmed on a Canon 1014 XL-S super 8mm camera with Black and White reversal film. He is currently wrapping up Post Production on his new film starring Corey and Colin and some others.

I posted on the Kaws issue of i-D a few weeks back and didn’t really have much info other than a few photos and a blog entry from Kaws’s blog… Well, the issue is about to be on the news stands in North America and it’s probably already out in the UK, and to go along with the release, i-D just posted a nice video on their site with Kaws. The video is a short interview piece starting with a bit of history about how Kaws got started and then focusing on the i-D project. I can’t wait to check this issue and I really hope I can get my hands on a Kaws copy.

David Lang sent me this link to a video that was posted on the Continuous Lean blog about Martin the Tailor and the dying profession of tailors in general. It’s a great piece that is very well filmed and it really interesting to hear about a profession that I know so little about, but can appreciate so much.

Sometimes I get so used to just talking about everyday stuff with our own Harrison Boyce that I forget how productive he is over at MacNeil. We all know he put the Wolf on, and more recently hooked up SLC ripper Jayson Johnson, but another dude that keeps on doing his work quietly is Juamell Campbell. I met him a few months ago when the crew was in town. He’s a cool dude and lately I’ve been getting amped on his web edits…

Especially this one.

Derek has just posted a rad Kevin Porter edit titled “Austin Line 2008″, which Kevin filmed by himself. I’m sure Kevin has plenty of friends in Austin that could have filmed him, so just take this as a fun little project that he decided to tackle.
