They might take a bit to load, but they are definitely worth the wait. The highly anticipated party photos from Elevation. And yes, that is tequila going directly into Adam Aloise’s eye.

Chad, Nuno and I were down in Guadalajara, Mexico last week for Red Bull Elevation… Actually Chad liked it so much, he’s still down there! We all shot a bunch of photos and we’ll be posting them in sections over the next week. Here’s the fist installment coming from last Friday’s practice.
I’m sure we’ve referenced The Brilliance a few times here on Defgrip, but I was checking them out yesterday for the first time in a while and got really psyched on their recent content (I say content because, even though it’s a blog with links to other content, there’s always plenty of interesting personal commentary prefacing the links–one of my favorite things about their site).
Among my favorites were links to a great article on Raf Simons, an awesome Gonzales remix of Fiest’s “I Feel It All”, and Hedi Slimane’s photo diary featuring Kate Moss (which you can also see on Hedi’s Myspace page).
Hedi, Raf and Gonzales are of course far more interesting than this post will give them credit for, so if you’re not familiar, my advice is to get over to The Brilliance and read the commentary. While you’re at it, check out at least the latest 2 pages of posts as well. Well worth it.

Check out our latest Photogallery from our recent trip to Estonia for Simpel Sessions. Nuno and I were lucky enough to make it out and we had a seriously good time. Estonia is an amazing place and we both hope we make it back next year. Big thanks out to Risto and everyone else we chilled with out there. We had a blast!
Click here to check out the Photogallery. All the photos were shot by myself and Nuno.

Simpel Sessions 08 is coming up really fast and it should be an amazing contest. The course is looking great and there is going to be some serious riders there. Risto from Simpel Sessions hit us up with some great photos from last years event. There is a bunch of stuff in the gallery that has never been published and it should get you psyched for the 08 contest. Nuno and I will be out there this year so you can expect some updates straight from Estonia, but for now check out the photos. Big thanks to Risto and the photographers - David Blazek, Grigory Bakouta, Kai Kuusisto, Kalle Veesaar, Kay Klauberg, Pekka Kemppi, Risto Kalmre, Robin Fenlon, Viktor Srasse.
I went to check out the Smart House with Jim Bauer the other day while we were riding bikes around my neighborhood (we’ve both been counting down the days until the Smart is released in the US) but didn’t even think to post it on Defgrip until Nuno forwarded me this feature from NOTCOT.
So click HERE to see an amazing photo gallery featuring the Smart House, a temporary modern showroom for the Smart car where you can drive the car, check the view of Venice from the rooftop lounge, and even reserve your own Smart for its early 2008 arrival in the states.
Thanks to Nuno for the link.

Greyboy and DJ Truly Odd have been on a sidehack mission. You might of remembered a while back when Mike posted on a Ride UK article about sidehackers that featured a photo of Greyboy and Truly Odd shredding a sidehack. Well, Greyboy hit us up to share some new photos of him with Truly Odd pulling a FIRST at the Redline Cup Nationals in Ontario CA. How dope is that!! The fact that they actually brought back a sidehack race, and at the same time these guys pulled in first place!
We are huge fans of Greyboy here at Defgrip and are super psyched to get these photos… If you go way back to Mike Ardelean’s part in 411 he rode to like three of Greyboy’s songs and Andrew posted on his house a while back as well. Architecture, great music, and BMX… how can you go wrong?? We are going to hook up with Greyboy very soon to bring a full length interview and a look into his BMX collection. So, a big thanks goes out to Greyboy for hooking up the photos!!
Check the Sidehack photogallery here the photos from the race and some bonus skateparks shots!

Beeler Van Orman sent over a bunch of photos of Dan Closser taken on some travels through the North West and we were able to put together a great photogallery.
