New Duo Site & Rogue Status Seats

duo_brand.jpg

Duo just launched a new site and it’s looking great. Keeping with the simple flash idea, they have put together a well designed, easy to use site that displays a great example of how flash should be used. I’m really digging the quotes on the team page (there are some serious names on there, BF, Mirra, Miron) and the new Rogue Status seats look so nice!

Check the new Duo site here and take a look at all the new Rogue Status seats after the jump - Continue Reading »

VAPORS “2 WHEEL ISSUE”

vs.jpg

The new issue of Vapors is out, and it looks to be a pretty good one upon quick flip through (yes, its a digital flip book).

The new mag is called the “2 wheel issue”, so there is something for everyone in this one if you’re into bikes. I flipped through real quick and noticed that Vinnie Sammon, Nigel Sylvester and Greyboy had some real estate in this issue.

You can sign up and see the mag for free, so you really have no excuses. You can also get a hard copy soon as well.

Check out the new issue HERE.

Work!

dsc00213crop.jpg

Ever since I learned that living indoors and eating food requires doing work (sometimes even having a J-O-B!), I’ve always gotten a bit amped on the idea of enjoying what you do and doing it with style. I figure that if you’re gonna be spending that much time doing something, you might as well embrace it. So naturally I love when publications like Wallpaper, normally known for profiling only the finer things in life and the people with the means to enjoy them, romanticize actually doing work.

The “Work” issue arrived at my door two weeks ago and highlights everything work-related–workspaces, work partners, work lunch, traveling for work, clothes and accessories for work, toolboxes and briefcases for work, coffee break from work, and so on. And this has got to be my favorite magazine cover in a long time.

Click below for a homemade preview, and then go get it.

Zoo York/Ghostface Board and Tee

ghost3.jpg

Knowing I’m a Ghostface superfan, Vinnie Sammon was nice enough to gift me one of 500 Zoo York / Ghostface tees with the accompanying skate deck. This collab between Ghost and Zoo York was born of Ghostface’s longtime love affair with the Iron Man / Toney Stark story throughout his career, with Ghost using both names as two of his aliases (which are listed on the shirt).

Ghost even starred in a scene from Iron Man, which unfortunately got cut from the movie before it hit theatres, but not before a personal phone call from Favreau who apologized did his best to make up for it.

DC/SE PART 2

bike.jpg

It looks like the new DC/SE bike is out, or about to come out.

If you hit up the DC Quadangle site and click “video”, you can check out Damon Way and Todd Lyons talking about the project, along with some cool history and old school stuff.

Apparently the release party was on April 2nd too, you would think that they would let someone in BMX know. And how come I only see ads for these bikes in non-bmx magazines most of the time (if not all)?
