Heath Pinter Interview

heath_pinter.jpg

Heath Pinter has been in the magazines for as long as I can remember and for some reason, I’ve always associated him with doing cool stuff… Whether it’s having a crazy color scheme on his bike years ago, building hot-rods, or hanging out with celebrities, Heath’s done it. He’s also taken on a larger roll with all of his sponsors. Rather than just being a rider, Heath does a lot of behind the scenes stuff like being a team manager, or working with big companies to build BMX programs. We hit up Heath to chat about all of the above and we also asked him to tell a few stories about NFL player Lonnie Paxton, one of Heath’s good friends and one of the craziest dudes I’ve ever met!

Check out our latest interview with Heath Pinter here.

Monocle on Black Lodges

monocle_2.jpg

Monocle Magazine has quickly become one of my favorite publications of right now. I have really been drawn in by their quality of content and broad range of topics. I don’t really follow foreign affairs as much as I should, so Monocle has been a great source for me and has got me thinking a lot more about the world, rather than just my little bubble, while giving me a look into a lot of great design topics that I might not look into on my own.  Monocle was started by Wallpaper founder Tyler Brule who rounded up Andrew Tuck to be the editor. Andrew was recently interviewed by Steven Vogel for Steven’s site, Black Lodges where the conversed over the concept behind Monocle, the current state of print, and what it’s like to be the editor of a worldwide publication.

Check out the Monocle interview on Black Lodges here.
