Natasja Fourie
I should just let David Lang take over posting on the site because he sends over so many good links. The latest is a portfolio site from the photographer, Natasja Fourie. Fourie has some amazing photos, but what blew me away more was the site. I don’t know if I just haven’t been paying that much attention to Flash sites, or if this thing is really that good, but I just can’t stop thinking about it. The full screen option that displays the site like you are watching a movie is amazing, the background screen type images are incredible, and all the type and design details are spot on. This is definitely one of my favorite sites I’ve seen in a while and I don’t think I’m the only one judging by all the awards the site has won.
That site is unreal! From the photos to the actual Flash. That site was done well! I’m on the fence with Flash honestly, I guess I like to see the simple, yet effective, “html” sites a lot. And then again I love to see a really well executed, highly technical, yet clean, Flash site. This one reminded me of theronin.co.uk site ( I guess it’s the sound bits that spark most memory ) and thelevitationproject.com ( with the full screen video mode, but turn the sound off ). Natasja’s site is incredible work! Bravo!
how the site is set up makes the pictures that much better! so much mood evoking movement and sounds. pics are sooo good too especialy the one with the lolipop on the eye
