I realize I have quite a book collection, a few records, trinkets, and whatever else I can find that I’ve acquired over the years I thought some people may like - like cassette packaging! Here is a cassette tape package that I really liked.

Check it -

Glad to know i’m not the only one with a sweet spot for 1970-80s electronics product and packaging design.

that’s hot. there’s a site somewhere that’s archived a lot of these cassette graphics, i’ll try and dig it up.

here is what i was thinking about:

doesn’t have the case packaging, but the cassette graphics themselves are pretty interesting. you can choose different brands and types from the pulldowns at the top. brings back some memories, and is a nice little peek into product design past

is that a 9 or 10 tooth cassette in that box…

I remember the ridiculous amounts of packaging that came with these.
first Cassette tape I bought when I was younger was Michael Jackson Thriller. I was about 9…

mixed tapes were the shit. not like a mix cd.. a mix tape you really had to think about what you put on there if you wanted seamless nonstop music. because you couldn’t skip tracks. you had to fast forward that shit…

    o the good ol days.
