“Trails Style How-To”? Yikes.
Sick cover photo, though.
I’m all for technically perfect BMX photographs and making things look how you want down to the last detail but did the photographer have Davey(?) change his shirt to match the complimentary colors of the flowers? I’ve read comments on skate/bmx photo forums where the photo would have looked better if so and so rider had a different color shirt on. BMX & skateboarding photos always seemed like they were capturing a raw moment but have they now become a highly calculated affairs down to T-shirt color?
Maybe not but give me a grimey photo of some unknown shredder his friend took on a disposable camera anyday over the mathematical photos of today.
The shirt was an accident. I was talking to davey the day after he found out and he actully brought it up and thought it was kind of funny he was wearing the shirt at the time…
Davey is definetely the “grimey unknown shredder” your thinking of but his friend just happens to have moved up from the disposable camera and gotten real good at shooting. Wait till you see the Facad video…
