Give D News
The Give D crew has some bad news regarding the web edits they’ve been working on for Defgrip. Alex put together some text to let everyone know what happened. Check it out after the jump.
EDIT- Hit up the D space to donate some funds if you wish. The boys need new equipment to keep the web edits coming.
Hello my friends and supporters of Give D, as you may or may not know we’ve been filming for some new web edits and collecting extra clips for our upcoming Shook section. Over the past two weeks the team has been producing like crazy shredding bikes and we filmed it all up, ready to produce our new web edit for Defgrip…
Ryan Sher and our good friend Jake T came to San Diego to hang out with the crew and to put in work with all the filming projects going on… So due to being rained out of our San Francisco trip last week we stayed local and rode our abundance of San Diego spots. We had a little day trip out to the new Desert Hot Springs bike park and that was an amazing time. Tons of good clips came out of that trip as well. Yesterday parts of the team came together for a little riding session up in North County. When the day of filming came to an end, I parted ways from the crew to go home and get things done on the computer. Hoang, Jake, Albert and Ryan headed back down to San Diego and they decided to go visit the bar off El Cajon Boulevard, a street which normally has a heavy amount of traffic flowing on it… After having been in the bar for 2 hours they come back to Hoang’s car which has been broken into and everything inside taken. That everything inside consisted of all of Hoang’s camera equipment and Jake’s camera bag as well… Somebody made off with a lot of expensive cameras and equipment and left us with absolutely nothing to film with for the time being.
This update is basically to notify those stoked on Give D web edits that we won’t have any new web edits up any time soon, unless we put something together with what we have. Which probably isn’t enough… So, my apologies go out to those who are bummed on the recent news, we’re all pretty bummed here in San Diego today. Hopefully soon we can come back up and keep bringing out the edits that those of you enjoy watching, please keep reppin’ D and supporting the positivity we normally possess…More news soon as it comes…
