James Carlucci:

This is probably one of the best pre-fab parks I have ever been to. Its like as if they had already pre-built cement ramps and poured some quickcrete at the bottom to make the tranny smooth. It may sound like a weird park, but thats what makes it so unique. The way the park is layout out is kind of random. There really isn’t any obvious lines to be done, you kind of have to get creative. Its like a well built skate spot, with cement obstacles all over the place. Not only that, but there are no session times for the park, and it is always free. So you really cant complain.

The plan was to drive to Connecticut to ride Edgewood skatepark, and possibly ride some street after. We got to the park a little bit later then we wanted to, but that was alright. We still had a few hours of daylight left. After riding the park for a few moments, a guy there soon realized we where not locals. He had a skateboard in his hand, but I never actually saw him skate. He came up to us and started to tell us some of his most intimate personal experiences that he went through in his life. Now I don’t mean to stereotype, but by the looks of him he was far from normal. Only knowing this guy for a few minutes, he wasn’t ashamed to tell us who he really was. From the first time he met his girlfriend was when she got off of the “short bus” in a wheelchair, and later on cheated on him… to how he has to go to the doctor tomorrow to get his ear checked out. There were times where we tried to just casually pedal away and he would grab you and make you stay and listen to him. But between trying to avoid this guy and having to listen to his horrible stories, James Carlucci was able to pull this perfect fufunu. We stayed for about a ten minutes more and we were out of there.
