FBM Sword

fbm_sward.jpg

The FBM crew had their new track frame, The Sword, out and about at Interbike and while John Paul had it in the Odyssey booth, I snapped some extremely blurry, spy photos. Not sure about any real info on the frame, other than it’s dope, but if you check out fbmbmx.com, I’m sure they will have some info up there soon.

Check out some photos of The Sword after the jump.

“after the jump” is a blog term meaning when you click more… to read the rest of the post… if you go back and read you’ll notice there is no “off” in that phrase… I did run into a kid at Starbucks who told me HE was a “Hypebeast”… how bad is that!!! hahaha…

….I did run into a kid at Starbucks who told me HE was a “Hypebeast”… how bad is that!!! …

i dont see why bmx companies are manufacturing track bikes they dont know this product they will never come close to ever being good as bianchi, hence why bianchi hasnt come out with a bmx bikes, because they stick to what they know. Damn trendwhores trying to cash in on the ignorance of their customers, heinous simply heinous.

Didn’t Bianchi attempt to get into BMX a few years back?
Didn’t T1 make a limited run of skateboards a couple of years back cause in their own words “to have the money themselves rather than some random skate company”.
So whats the problem with FBM producing a track bike? How many ‘real’ BMX companies are making a Beach cruiser?
If I was the CEO of the baddest rider owned company ever, I would probably also make some Scuba gear, cause it’s also what I’m into. No doubt this would cause some serious friction with all the hardened BMXers keeping it real!

Somebody needs to make a beach cruiser

  20. billyon 04 Oct 2007 at 6:21 am

Nothing wrong with a fixer. Set it up proper with some drops and she’s a good time. You can’t diss a fix.

what kind of fork????? is that?? i want a lugged fork for 1 1/8″ internal.
anyone know where i can get it??

  23. trevwonon 24 Apr 2008 at 8:18 pm

that shit is legit. im glad to see bmx companies stepping up. they know how to build a solid bike that can handle some daily abuse. and isnt that what everyone wants? and bianchi? do you actually own one of those? i did. and it was crap.
