We’ve written down 100 random questions and assorted topics, all of which are unbeknownst to our victims. We will be asking people to pick 20 random numbers from 1-100 and then supplying them with those questions/topics to answer. Who knows what might come up!?!?!

Up next is Austin’s own style master, Chase Hawk.

Where in the world do you want to visit most that you haven’t been to?

I’ve always wanted to go to Tahiti. Its been this dream of mine to just stay on one of those overwater bungalows.

Top 5 all time favorite movies.

In no particular order:
1. Casino
2. Shawshank Redemption
3. Reservoir Dogs
4. The Fighter
5. National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation

What is the word you overuse the most?

Honestly, either “fuck” or “Lucy”. The first one needs no explanation, but “Lucy” because she’s always getting in to trouble. I love her, but she’s a handful.

What is your worst bad habit?

I have two. I doubt myself a lot. I need to be more confident in myself in riding and all other aspects of life. My other bad habit is I get anxious on oversea flights. I think it’s the anticipation of sitting in a chair uncomfortably for a long period of time and not being able to do anything about it freaks me out.

What advice would you give to a younger you?

This is a hard one because I’ve made a lot of bad decisions in the past, but I feel like I wouldn’t change any of them because I’ve grown a lot from the outcomes. I am who I am today because of my past. If I had to pick I would say be smart with your money. It was easy once I started receiving money when I was younger to blow it on everything as unnecessary as it was. Kids are lucky if they have parents that help manage their money when they are younger, as much as it sucks at the time it will pay off in the long run.

What are you saving up for?

I’m saving up for a car and a wedding. A car first though. Just kidding. But both of those things I am looking forward to this year.

Any hidden talents? What are they?

I would say playing the drums, but I feel like everyone knows that. Other than that I would say I’m a one trick pony.

Do you have any superstitions?

I believe in karma and being a good person to yourself and others. Good things will happen to those who deserve it and vice versa.

What trait do you think people need more of in general?

I think people need to learn to let go and relax. I see so many people get so consumed in the future and don’t even take time to acknowledge what’s happening to them in the present. People just need to know it’s okay to slow down and just enjoy what is in front of them. Life doesn’t have to be a competition. Stress is always a big factor. I don’t do well with stress so I tend to do anything I can to avoid it. Whether that’s the right thing or not I’m not sure, but I know it helps.

Give us 2 truths and a lie.

I can do a backflip
I hate rollercoasters
I’m related to Tony Hawk

What is a weird, strange or funny story about something that happened to you?

I was riding street at the Santa Ana Civic Center Banks and I was with Dakota, Robbie, Joe Rich and a few other people. Long story short, cops end up coming and we decided that we were going to try and ride our bikes and get away from them. They pulled out taser guns and we obviously stopped. Five cops ended up coming and most of them had your egotistical cop personality and tried to lecture us the whole time. I just kept my mouth shut and didn’t say one word the whole time. The cops came back and gave every person there a ticket except for me. I couldn’t believe it. Joe had to even fly back to California for a court date. I don’t know why, but I guess keeping my mouth and opinions to myself paid off in that situation. I feel bad for everyone else though haha.

Do you have any pets?

I have two dogs now, an English bulldog named Lucy and a Cavachon named Oscar. I’m about to have another dog, Lauren’s lab retriever named Raileey.

When was the last time you stepped in dog shit?

Yesterday when I was raking and cleaning Laurens parent’s yard. Lots of it as well.

What was the last book you read?

I started reading The New Good Life by John Robbins, but I haven’t finished it yet. To be honest, it’s hard for me stay focus reading books. I look forward to reading more though.

What was the last time you were star struck?

It would probably be at the X-Games in Germany. I had the chance to hang out and chill with my two of my skateboarding idols – Raven Tershy and Grant Taylor. I look up to these dudes a lot. I get a lot of inspiration from the way they skate. The way they look when they ride bowls and parks is how I want to look when I ride them on my bike. They are stylish riders that take skateboarding to another level. Anyone that knows who they are wouldn’t disagree. I watch and keep up with skateboarding a lot so I was definitely stoked on getting to chill and hang out with them in Germany.

Where were you when 9/11 happened?

I was at my dad’s house. I was sleeping and remembering him yelling at me to wake up and come downstairs. We were watching the TV when the second plane hit, it was definitely a crazy experience. I was home schooled at the time so I pretty much watched the news all day.

How many songs do you have in your iTunes library?

69,420

If you were in an elevator and Michael Jordan walked in, what would you do?

I would probably play it cool. I would assume he would probably not even acknowledge me in an elevator so I would probably try and not stare and make it awkward. I wouldn’t do anything, but I would think it was cool and tell everyone I knew about it later.

Toilet paper. When the roll is getting low, are you guilty of using just enough not to replace it, or do you do the right thing?

Always do the right thing… and if you’re staying at my house you better be buying that Angel Soft or we are having a problem.
