We’ve written down 100 random questions and assorted topics, all of which are unbeknownst to our victims. We will be asking people to pick 20 random numbers from 1-100 and then supplying them with those questions/topics to answer. Who knows what might come up!?!?!

Up next is the man behind the classic Deadline video (and other sweet shit), Tony Ennis.

What would be your ideal weekend?

Finish a project I put a lot of work into and celebrate with the people I care about for the whole weekend, it doesn’t really matter where, as long as the family is there I’m happy. To me, finishing a project that I’ve put a lot of time and effort into is one of the best feelings and being with the ones I love is a must.

Do you have any superstitions?

Not really, but I never say one more time when we are out filming, I say another.

What are you saving up for?

The new Fiend web video.

What keeps you awake at night?

Lighting up spots, editing, and Camel Lights.

What is your favorite beer?

How many hats do you own?

One bucket hat. I don’t wear hats much, I got a pretty big head.

Give us your best / favorite recipe of any kind.

Eggs Benedict.

What is the best purchase you ever made?

Sony VX1000. I think my life would be very different if I hadn’t bought that camera. I used it for a good 12 years, it’s worth it’s weight in gold. I’ll never get rid of it.

Best halloween costume you have worn?

A Tiger costume my Mom made me that was too small. I had a tail and shit.

What is a weird, strange or funny story about something that happened to you?

I was on the Blazers trip in Portland this year around the 4th of July. We went to Grants Pass one of the days for Mac’s birthday jam and Steve met some dudes who were trying to get rid of some ‘shrooms. No one in the crew really fucks with shrooms too much so it was surprising when everyone was down to trip together. Everyone but Z and Aaron ate them on the 4 hour drive back to Portland after the jam. When everyone started feeling the ’shrooms, this black darkness came over the whole van and it went silent. Out of nowhere this loud mustang comes hauling ass up beside us, his license plate said 666, I think everyone saw that at the same time and I just heard a collective monotone “666”, you could just hear the fear in everyones voice, that’s when all hell broke loose.. Mac was sitting up front hanging out of the window screaming at this mustang repeating “IT’S THE DEVIL!”. He was just facing Satan laughing in his face, the wind in the van was so loud, it was chaos. He started screaming at the top of his lungs “SOMEONE NEEDS TO MAKE A SACRIFICE!” fully hanging out of the window the whole time. We all thought he was gonna jump out so everyone pulled him away from the window, It was scary.

After a while the mustang went away and we all kind of calmed down, the fear had gone away and all you could really hear was people chuckling. There was 4 rows of us trippin’ in a Mercedes sprinter van that you could fully stand up in, it felt and sounded like a spaceship. After awhile someone said something along the lines of “I wonder what happened to Satan”, that very moment he came ripping up beside us again throwing the horns and just dipped off the highway into the darkness. Steve tried to shoot a photo of him as he was dipping off but the photo never came out for some reason. I’m pretty sure we all looked into Satan’s eyes that night but I’m sure Z would say we are all crazy.

Arriving in Portland was sick, the view coming into the city was amazing and the fact that it felt like we were landing in a spaceship from an epic journey was an awesome feeling. The first stop sign we came to in Portland we all looked to the right and there was this shining house with glowing neon alien faces all over it, it was a fuckin’ trip. To say it was a relief to get back to The Porch (our house) after that drive would be an understatement. We all went back to the alien house the next day to see what it was all about and the whole front of the house was covered in CD’s. Portland is strange but that was probably one of the best trips I’ve been on. We all became closer after the journey and a lot of heads on that trip now have the trippy spaceship tattoo in honor of that fucked up night. Shout out to the Blazers.

Yesterday – breakfast lunch and dinner?

Breakfast: Smoothie with Bluberries, Bananas, Kale, Spinach, Almond Butter, Chia seeds, and Almond Milk

Didn’t eat lunch just because we were out filming.

Went to Turf Club for a ribeye, salad, and some Sculpins. I’d suggest checking that place out if you are ever in the San Diego area, it’s got a good vibe.

What would you be doing professionally right now if you weren’t doing what you are?

I like architecture and I have always been pretty good with kids so I’d like to think a teacher or an architect. I can’t think of anything I’d rather be doing than what I’m doing now.

What would you do today if it was your last day?

Have an epic party with all my friends at Blacks Beach. Tell everyone I love that they mean a lot to me.

When you travel, do you tend to travel light or over pack?

Try to pack as light as possible, it’s hard with the camera gear but I try to keep that to a minimum also.

How many songs do you have in your iTunes library?

1715. I had a lot of music in iTunes before my hard drive crashed while working on The Fiend Promo, it was devastating. I lost all my music and had to re-edit the whole project. I haven’t been in a rush to get a bunch of new music, I listen to the same albums a lot now.

If you were in an elevator and Michael Jordan walked in, what would you do?

Probably give him a nod. I wouldn’t know what the fuck to say to Michael Jordan.

Give us some words to live by…

Time is your master

What was the last time you were star struck?

I don’t usually trip out when I see anyone but I was definitely star struck when I saw Taj at Texas Toast this year. He was always my favorite growing up so I think it came from that. When I was in high school, maybe 9th or 10th grade our teacher asked us to write to someone who inspired us, all the kids were writing to corny actors like Vin Diesel, Britany Spears, shit like that. I wrote to Taj and he was so cool about it, he sent me some shirts, 2 signed posters and stickers. My teacher hung one of the posters in the hall and I always thought that was pretty dope. I don’t have a lot of things but I still have that signed poster.

Toilet paper. When the roll is getting low, are you guilty of using just enough not to replace it, or do you do the right thing?

Do the right thing.
