Gaz & Walter Pieringer Come Together…

*Q&A w/ Mutiny’s Gaz Sanders regarding “Come Together”.

You’ve been promoting “Come Together” as of late. How has it all been coming along?

As far as the riding is concerned it’s done. Walter showed me a cut of it before I left for the UK last week and I’m really excited to put it out. So he’s just putting the finishing touches on it and it will be done.

This was a fairly quick project yeah? You guys started filming in April correct?

I guess in comparison to the trip edits we have been putting out it feels like a longer project. We started in March and finished filming early June. Texas summers are relentless so that kind of put an end to filming once the heat started beating down.

Do you consider Come Together to be a full on Mutiny video or a super dialed web project? If there’s even a difference…

Far from a full video. After spending the last 18 months doing 10 day trips I just wanted to do something that would give the riders a little more time to shine, trips are awesome but very limiting for how much people can film, you may have 5 riders and one filmer and things can take time to get pulled.
For me it’s been amazing watching the guys have more time and focus to get the clips they really want.

Give us a brief synopsis on this upcoming web gem.

Filmed over 90 days in our home state of Texas featuring; Josh Bedford, George Boyd, Brandon Hoerres, Robbo, Matt Roe, Justin Simpson, Grant Castelluzzo, Deven Ferrer, Mat Houck, Mikey Luplow, Andy Martinez and Kyle Davenport

Who is heading up the project?

Walter Pieringer has been the head honcho on this one. It’s been a while since Walter and Mutiny have done a video together so it seemed about time.

Did Water simultaneously film and shoot an article for this at the same time?

For the most part yes. He’s no stranger to multi tasking! We are also really lucky to have Joe Simon and Cameron Muilenburg as additional filmers.

Any good stories from the time putting this together?

As with any trip or adventure with this crew there is always lots of smile and good times. My personal favorite moment was getting to ride Hush with Robbo, Roey, Andy, Joe and Mikey and all the locals that dig there. Shout out to AZ, Ricky, Turner, Coach for letting us film out there.
Walter is also working on a story which will feature in Ride UK which will offer a bit more insight into the project.

How did you settle on “Come Together” as a title and will the Beatles sue you?

As far as I know I don’t think Sir Paul owns the rights to “Come Together” so we should be good! hahahaha. Come Together came from the idea of having the whole team literally come together for this one project it’s also a song that’s used in the video but it’s not one of the Beatles!

What’s next for Mutiny?

As I’m sat here typing this we are in London filming for something else. You know we are always cooking something up.

Thanks Gaz. Mutiny never disappoints with the visuals, so I look forward to this. Anything you’d like to add before we wrap this up?

Thanks Nuno for the interest in the project. The video will be available August 20 and we will have the video available for free download via MutinyBikes.com.
