Rolling into San Francisco on a cold fall night meant meeting up with some old friends (namely Full Frame Collective’s Kyle-Emery Peck). Through Kyle I met AJ, who had grown tired of buying shoes all the time to ride BMX in, and had taken to the very unorthodox practice of exclusively riding in steel-toed work boots. If memory serves me correctly, he had spent a year and a half in this pair, and they were going strong. I once wrote as an into to an old issue of DIG that BMX was a lighthouse for misfits and lunatics, and it isn’t my place to call AJ either, but he certainly is an individual. Talk about lost in translation, this is a digi snap of a film print. Here’s to making OHSA proud AJ.
