With minimal whitewater experience, I had the chance to spend three weeks as a floating shit-show rowing a boat through the Grand Canyon. it was cold and there were some tense moments, but was a great experience (I only flipped the boat in some hairball rapids once). This photo is of one of the campsites on the trip, a small tent dwarfed by the immensity of it’s surroundings.

I’ve always been intrigued by Ryan, I remember bumping into him occasionally over the years at random skateparks all across the NW. It always seemed as though Ryan literally just coasted down on his bike from a gnarly mountain pass somewhere to the skatepark, from camping out for weeks on end. Always weather beaten, always humble as can be, and always full of traveling ambition. You can see it in his eyes when you meet him, and these photos put it into perspective perfectly! great work man, hope to cross paths again down the road!
