This spot is in an un-named industrial complex south of Seattle and has been affectionally nicknamed “Bankzilla’s Mom.” There is nothing ground breaking about the carve that results from the gate start sprint to blast this thing, but that is kind of the point. This kind of stuff will always be fun.

I’ve always been intrigued by Ryan, I remember bumping into him occasionally over the years at random skateparks all across the NW. It always seemed as though Ryan literally just coasted down on his bike from a gnarly mountain pass somewhere to the skatepark, from camping out for weeks on end. Always weather beaten, always humble as can be, and always full of traveling ambition. You can see it in his eyes when you meet him, and these photos put it into perspective perfectly! great work man, hope to cross paths again down the road!

Man what a beautiful collection and some great stories!! I met Ryan a few times at the Portland “skatepark” about 12 yrs ago, he was living out of a blue chevy blazer and. Was the coolest, ballziest rider I have ever met!!! Great job Ryan!!!!
