VH1 has been running a documentary series on the evolution of Heavy Metal called (funnily enough) “Metal Evolution”. The series tackles all of the sub-genres having to do with influencing metal and has been really good (even the prog rock stuff).

I decided to check if Metal Evolution episodes were available online, and sure enough, they are! If you’re a fan of metal, documentaries in general or need an excuse to take a long dump, check this series out.
