ODSY VISION: TRAVEL LOG – NEW MEXICO from ODYSSEYBMX.COM
Gary Young, George Boyd, Justin Simpson and Jim Bauer recently took an Odyssey trip to New Mexico to tackle some rails with Jeff Z for a Ride article. Sean Sexton was on hand too, but got hurt early on the trip unfortunately.
Watch the edit above and check out a Disposed feature from the trip by clicking below.

Poler’s “about” page pretty much says it all:
POLER CAMPING STUFF makes sleeping bags, tents, bags, and accessories that is simple, good looking, well designed gear for people that are travelers, couch surfers, regular surfers, skateboarders, snowboarders, bicyclists, parents, kids, car campers and anyone else looking for something that looks good, is a good value and is all about having fun on road trips and in the outdoors.
I recently came across the Poler site, and immediately liked what I saw. This is big considering I never go camping. I slept on rocks once at Lake Mead and would be psyched as shit to have the Nap Sack.
Anyway… this stuff looks cool, fun and the art direction is on point. I’ve never thought about owning a shirt from a camping brand until now.
Any of you BMX’ers who are partial to sleeping out in the woods on road trips (or on various couches) should eyeball this stuff.
Some good work here as always.
At the end of August 2011 the Fit UK crew consisting of Ben Lewis, Bengo, Dan Benson, Farren Downes, Owain Clegg & Marv embarked on a 7 day trip to Stockholm Sweden.
This continues the Scandinavian Fit trip theme, after last years visit to Helsinki, aside from the strict rules on beer there is not much you can’t love about this part of the world.

South London is littered with ‘council estates’ (or social housing). We spent a month exploring these estates with Shaun Jinks, Rory Duncan, Janis Cunculis, Jamie Guile, Dan Figg, Max Wood (aka Peter Prang), Radek Dźwigała, Ben Marvin, and Shaun Jinks. Tonash Goodyear filmed and edited the results. Also thanks to Mateusz Kanownik and Chris Gordon.
Somewhere in the mix London was blighted with riots. If the move to demolish these estates wasn’t a rush before the riots it certainly will be now.

Adam Craver is an old school dude with a motorcycle shop in Philadelphia. This is an inspiring video of him talking about his bikes, his independent shop, the appeal of vintage stuff, the fulfillment you get from working with your hands, and his concern that America is heading away from these things.
This guy oozes true non-contrived east-coast personality and emotion. Four minutes twenty seconds, well worth it.

Here’s a rad mix edit from the Cardinal crew. Featuring Boy, Eric Cuiper, Miles Simone, Nate Moroshan, Jackson Ratima, E-Man and many more…
Enjoy!

Here’s a new feature called “TM Tales”. For those who aren’t up on all the hot BMX industry slang, “TM” stands for team manager. The “TM” is the dude who takes care of the riders for any given company, plans trips and babysits them on the road. TM’s are a crucial element to any successful team and needless to say, they see and deal with a lot. For this feature, we tap certain TM’s to recount a memorable experience.
First up, we have Jon Taylor. Click below.
Damn… this is sounding like some vintage Nas right here.
Stripped down + Non-Robot Sounding beat = Win.

Earlier this year Chris Doyle made it over to Iraq to do some demos for the troops. We sent a camera with him and this is what he came back with..

Here is a trailer for what looks to be a full length documentary style movie about building motorcycles and riding them. Starring BMX OG Kim Boyle as well as Max Schaaf and Eddie Cleveland.
Edited by Davey and filmed by Michael Schmidt.

“I travel not to go anywhere, but to go. I travel for travel’s sake. The great affair is to move.”
This quote has always stuck with me, and my desire to see the world. What better way to experience it with your friends. We had one destination, and that was Vegas for Interbike, after that; is was to hit up as many spots on the way back along I-70, but with sleeping navigators, we missed our exit and ended up in Salt lake city, that turned out to be the best part of the trip! We ventured through Wyoming, and back down the edge of Colorado.
We all lost a lot of things on this trip, SLEEP, money(C-L0), phone chargers, track of time, and our minds. Just something funny about road trips, that all of the bad things that happen along the way seem to disappear once it’s all said and done, but the good times make you laugh any time you think about them.

Tech Spec is my new favorite image blog… Like I said to Nuno this morning on iChat, it makes me want to buy a bunch of “gear”. Found via The Fox is Black.

If you don’t own Still Here yet, now is a good time to get on it.
This is sweet!
Here is our second trailer for G.U.T.I. It’s been in the works for a while, but that doesn’t mean the team isn’t working hard on it. This trailer is different from our first one in that it shows some of the struggles that go into a video. Injuries and sponsor changes won’t stop us. Get Used To It out when it’s done.
