One Last Session
Here’s one last session featuring Trey Jones and Rickey Bates.
Here is the last session that Trey and I were lucky enough to have with Rickey Bates before he passed away. It was unbearably hot but it didn’t matter, it was nothing but good friends, good times, and good tunes.

Print Ad: Subrosa

Here is Subrosa Brand’s latest print advertisement. This month we featured Hoang Tran, and the 2012 Subrosa Novus Complete bike. The photo of Hoang is from a North Carolina Subrosa trip and it was shot by Ryan Fudger. This was the first night we got to N.C. And Hoang wasted no time getting work done. Shortly after this was taken Scott Ditchburn lost his wallet with ALL his money in it. These are really the only two thing I remember from that night. I do know the rest of the trip was awesome, but they all are.

First Look: Albion 4 Cover

Here’s your first look at the cover to Albion 4.
The cover features an illustration by Chris Wright , and the content of the issue can be found in the illustration. Any guesses?
All of the Albion covers have been pretty interesting, and this shows they are willing to have fun with it too.
Kink Ghetto Park Edit
Check out this fun edit with Jay Roe and Darryl Tocco at their local ghetto park. Keep an eye out for some Fudger clips as well!
Just Missed Us

Ever since May 2009 we’ve been big fans of the “Them Thangs” photo blog by Justin Blyth. Justin actually did an interesting interview with us as part of our “Best of 2009″ article, which we never got around to posting for various reasons, but we stayed up on his progression which is moving at a rapid pace. Them Thangs has taken a dive off the deep end into vintage biker culture (49% son of a bitch, 51% motherfucker), but perhaps even more remarkable is his other blog “Just Missed Us”, comprised of his own photos.
According to these photos, Justin lives a life of travel, adventure and pure spontaneity. Check it out here, and click below to see a selection of my favorites.
Photo Of The Day: Jon Contino

Jon Contino will be taking over our Photo of The Day for the next month or so. Jon is one of our favorite designers, so we are stoked to have him on board.
Thanks to Robin Fenlon for his extended tour of duty.

American Juggalo

I seriously contemplated about wether or not to post this on here for about 10 minutes, then said fuck it! Here you go, 22 minutes of Juggalo fandom. The only thing I know about Juggalos is that they’re normally clowned upon (seriously, no pun intended), so I was up for checking out this new documentary (especially since it’s by the same person who made this). All in all… this was well done, I enjoyed it and may or may not go to work with face paint on today. Whoop whoop!
From Sean Dunne’s Vimeo:
American Juggalo is a look at the often mocked and misunderstood subculture of Juggalos, hardcore Insane Clown Posse fans who meet once a year for four days at The Gathering of the Juggalos.
We went to The Gathering of the Juggalos and let the Juggalos speak their minds.

The History Of English
This is a great little video series for people like me who were educated in the U.S. public school system and sometimes feel like you didn’t learn anything in school (especially how to spell!! haha…). Each video is about 1min long and funny as shit. Keep reading to see the rest! (via doobybrain)
Animal F/W 2011 Look Book

Animal’s Fall/Winter clothing just hit the shops and we are excited to present their lookbook, shot by Edwin De La Rosa! As a followup from the feature we put together last year, Edwin cruised around New York with the Animal crew, snapping pics of everyone rocking the new gear. Keep reading to check out the lookbook and head over to the Animal site to get all the info on the clothing!
Jesse Whaley / Quintin / Hopper
Here’s an interesting edit entitled “Cyclical”, which features Jesse Whaley and incorporates both of his interests, BMX and motorcycles.
For Quintin, in conjunction with Hopper Mag.

Q&A: Greg Guillotte

Courtesy of GO & Mike Ardelean's scanner
If you wanted to look back over the last couple of decades to find the first hints of the brakeless/padless/narrow-fit-denim future of BMX, I’d say the 1991 cover of GO magazine was a pretty good indicator… even though it was ten years before brakeless riding caught on. Recently a Facebook friendship with cover boy Greg Guillotte began to trigger my memories of this era, so I got in touch, got some photos of the glory days, and asked him a few questions.
