This spring I was up at the OSS house in Long Beach shooting with Brad Simms and David Grant, who were staying there at the time. Most of the days we spent cruising around Downtown and Belmont Shore riding spots as we found them. The majority of the time we ended up getting kicked out of every spot we found before even getting a good session in.

One day, Garrett Reeves came with us and knew of this ledge spot in an alley way behind some beach houses. After trying out a couple tricks he decided he wanted to do a tire ride on the ledge to tire bonk on the telephone pole. Within a few tries, he got the bonk he wanted and we left the spot without being forced to leave for once…
