Local Anti-Hero

BMX January, 12 2011

James Newrick sent over a link to this great documentary his friend Richard Smith put together. The short documentary is about Newcastle/Gateshead’s Dave Young. ”Dave was a big name within BMX in the 80’s, he competed against the likes of Matt Hoffman and also rode for S&M. In this he talks about the changing industry within BMX. Being hit with responsibilities of having a child and trying to find a balance between working and riding.”

best tabes. quite depressing and motivating at the same time. sucks when riders like that have to put there dreams aside to take care of buisness.
