This is the only resemblance of BMX I saw during my two-week stint in East Africa. These three orphans took turns pushing each other down the dirt road on this small bike because it didn’t have pedals. (Kigali, Rwanda)

I spent the first two weeks of December traveling through East Africa where I met amazing people, heard incredible stories, and saw unbelievable sights. It will no doubt take me years to process everything I witnessed, and I may never be able to fully explain what my mind and heart went through, but I feel it is my duty to do my best in sharing what I can, so here are 30 photographs from my journey. I was in East Africa (Kenya, Tanzania) the last three weeks and got back home 2 days ago.

Amazing experience, especially the Maasai people and their customs. This gallery reflects a lot of what I saw and I am glad to have come across it.
