W Magazine was recently re-vamped by the lead of the new editor Stefano Tonchi. To give you a glimpse into the new style and direction of the magazine, W has produced a short documentary about the changes and what’s to come. The film gives you a great look into how a magazine is produced and the people that are behind each issue. You can check out the documentary on the W website.

People argue that I have ‘nothing to show’ from the money I spent, but this video is priceless to me and I’ll have these memories forever, I haven’t even scratched the surface of what’s to be seen in this world, but even limiting myself to what I could afford at the time was so much fun!

A group of us were out with our buddy Brady Erickson recently when he casually mentioned that he was taking off for Vietnam in a few days. By himself, with no plan, not even a return date. A few weeks went by, and I got these photos and this email:
“Trip is going really well… been flying by the seat of pants and have ended up in Laos – it’s unreal here, man. Like Robinson Crusoe island in the middle of the Mekong River. Fireflies and river dolphins and tree-houses and shit. Turns out Laos food is the closest thing to Mexican food you’re gonna find in Asia as well, so I’m fitting right in.”

Corey Bohan has a new website up – coreybohan.com. The site has some photos and a bunch of videos and it looks like he’s going to be keeping the blog updated on a regular basis. Check it out!
It’s interesting to see how the concept of a “test shot” can go from sliiiiiightly awkward to super cool with just the addition of a few smart words spoken by the subject. It adds meaning. I’m a fan of the new format.

Influencers is a short documentary that explores what it means to be an influencer and how trends and creativity become contagious today in music, fashion and entertainment. The project was put together by Paul Rojanathara and Davis Johnson from R+I Creative and they have a great website to go along with the film. There will also be a “in-depth” mimi series that will launch on their site November 17th.
Hans from Zwangzig sent over a link to this great photo gallery with a bunch of shots from Siberia… There wasn’t much info and the Zwangzig site isn’t in English, but after doing a quick Google translation, I discovered that they went to Siberia to build a skatepark for the locals.
