The public recognizes Chris Bangle as the man who brought BMW to the top of “premium” market as far as sales are concerned, and BMW aficionados recognize him as the dude who ruined everything by introducing “Bangle Butt” in 2004 and trading understated beauty for… gross overstatement I guess.

Regardless, this interview with him is interesting–a short and sweet look into his design philosophy and maybe a little justification as to why he did what he did.
