This is awesome. Everything about this edit says good times to me and brought a smile to my face.
Great job. Bonus comedy points for the Sasquatch arm.

This is a wild one. Airbag Helmet.
First it’s a scarf, then it’s a head protecting airbag. What are your thoughts on this?
Via – The Whoa, whose post made me laugh.

Haha… watch as Dakota wakes up Nathan Williams and asks him a bunch of questions. Go HERE.

Cory sent through the latest Verde print ad. Click below to check it out.
Our boys at BMXMDB have done a really good piece with James Cox, which frankly, I think you should check out. Good stuff.
From BMXMDB:
James sat down to talk to us the day after winning two NORA cups for best video, and best video section. He talks about his riding and filming career and how he approached filming for ‘This Is United’ edited together with footage of his riding from S&M’s ‘I Wanna Live’, his Retribution and Atilla video parts, and examples of his work for 4Down.
Pick up This Is United if you haven’t yet.

James Wade’s September Photobook is up now. PEEP it!

I went on tour with the MacNeil team at the end of the summer from Vancouver to Portland to film the tour video that we posted last week. It was our first big trip in a while and we had an amazing time. The following photos are just a bunch of random snapshots from the trip, shot by Jeremy Deme and myself, as well as a few random snaps by the other guys on the team.
Check out Tony Hamlin shredding Jersey while his girl films. Sounds like a keeper to me. Gooooood stuff in here.
Filmed by Bri Johnson and edited by Darryl Tocco.

If you are into interior design or websites like The Selby, then you should check out Freunde von Freunden, a German based site that takes a look into peoples homes, studios, work spaces, etc. There are interviews that go along with each photo story, but most of them are in German. Check out the site and keep reading to see a few images from the latest post with Berlin Illustrator, Olaf Hajek.

Chromeo recently hit up Justin Saunders from JJJJound and asked him to put together a JJJJound like image blog – titled CCCChroemeo – inspired by Chromeo’s album “Business Casual.” When I first checked this, I wasn’t sure if Chroemo was ripping on JJJJound, or if they actually teamed up… Stoked it was the latter, because this looks like a pretty fun project! (p.s. look out for the streaming music that you can’t turn off)
Here’s an edit from this years Rail Jam that S&M put on at Interbike. This is good because I was basically looking at the back of peoples heads the whole time, haha…

Thanks to Dave Jacobs for sending this through.

Ryan Sher just sent over the latest Subrosa ad. Check out what he had to say about it…
“Here’s the latest print ad from Subrosa. This ad was in Ride U.S. and also on the back cover of Ride U.K. Personally it’s one of my favorites. I love my car, I love doing burn-outs in my car, I love flipping people off, and I love it when Greg jumps over stuff to flat. Really the only thing that I don’t like about this ad is the reminder of the time my car got keyed on the front fender. Thanks to James Covington for shooting this photo.”
Last month, Rip Curl released a video as part of their Mirage promotional campaign featuring some shots taken with a 52-DSLR rig set up. They worked with Timeslice Films and rented the Sunway Lagoon water theme park in Malaysia for two days to make this happen, and the resulting footage is pretty phenomenal. If you’re interested in how this was made, check out a behind the scenes after the jump!

To go along with the Oakley / Chase Hawk video, Chad Moore shot a series of photos that follow the theme of the project. Documenting Chase on and off his bike the photos capture what went down over the span of a few days this past summer in Austin, TX.

If you haven’t yet, you should spend some time on The Selvedge Yard, a source for some great visual inspiration as well as actual information. While so many people are just focused on the visual side of inspiration and very rarely write anything to correspond with the images, let alone credit or caption the photos, the Selvedge yard does the opposite. With great posts like Andre The Giant Among Men and How Carroll Shelby Beat Ferrari, your day will easily get sucked away.

Check out a NORA edition of @ Random(s) with Andrew White.

Notre Jour Viendra is a new feature film from Director Romain Gavras who directed the M.I.A, Born Free video as well as the Jus†ice, Stress video. Staring Vincent Cassel, the film – of which the title translates to Our Day Will Come in english – plays off the redhead theme of the M.I.A. video and tells the story of a young redhead shunned by his family and friends and heads off the Ireland, the land of the redheaded people but further sinks into a “rampage of hate, violence and self-destruction.”

Shadow sent in their current print ad featuring Seth Kimbrough. Much to my amusement, there happens to be an actual shadow in the ad, haha…
Nice!
Harley Haskett, who shot a few rad Disposed galleries over the past few months, just put a collection of random photos that he shot on all the Ten Pack trips over the Summer. A nice selection of random snapshots and candids of the Ten Pack team, the riders that came into town, and the antics they got up to. Keep reading for a few photos and check out the full gallery on Ten Pack.
A while back I posted THESE photos from this contest that Oakley put on in the UK, and now we have video. Looks like a rad time.
Enjoy!
Nike’s Bridge Runners, a photo series by Tim Barber documenting people running on the bridges of New York, made it’s rounds online over the summer. For some reason I didn’t really check it out, but after I got hit up to go to an opening for the photos tonight, I did some googling… And even though these photos have probably been on every website ever, I still felt like they deserved a post. The videos that coincide with the project, created by Exposure are amazing as well. Nice slow-paced shorts documenting the photographer documenting the runners…
Here’s the first edit to come out of the Kink House.
