Patrick Joust Photography

Features, Photography April, 17 2010
by Nuno Oliveira

Patrick Joust is the kind of photographer that makes me want to shoot photos all day.

I’ve followed Patrick on Flickr for a good while now, and between his diptychs, night shots, portraits, street scenes etc…, he has no shortage of styles. He shoots on all formats with a bunch of different cameras and has a style all his own.

I asked Patrick to submit some photos and he kindly came through. Click below to check out some of his work and be sure to follow his stuff on Flickr.

NAME: Patrick Joust
AGE: 32
LOCATION: Baltimore, MD
CAMERAS: Too many to count, but ones I frequently use and that are in this set include my Yashica Mat 124G, Rolleiflex 2.8F, Leica M3, Olympus XA and Polaroid 430. I’m definitely a big fan of variety. My favorite kind of camera is a TLR, but I also enjoy using my Olympus Pen FT, my Spotmatic F, Canonet QL17, Contax IIa and several others.
YEARS SHOOTING: I’ve taken photography seriously since about 2002/2003. I would say I’ve only gotten to the point where I like a lot of what I’m doing in the past couple of years.
