New York in January pt.1

On January 1st I hopped on a plane in Vancouver and started what turned into an amazing three week trip to New York. I’ve wanted to spend some time in NY and one of the perks of working for my self is the ability to get-up and go wherever and whenever I please. I found a great sublease one block off Bedford Ave. in Williamsburg and it couldn’t have worked out any better because Andrew McMullen was moving to the city at the same time and happened to find an apartment just a few blocks away. With no real plans we spent the three weeks working, riding bikes, shooting photos, meeting new people, chilling with the Snake Lounge crew, and having an amazing time day in and day out. The stories I have from the three weeks can go on for hours and the memories will last forever. Huge thanks to Ryan Bailey, Chad Moore, and the rest of the Snake Lunge crew for showing us an amazing time. And a big thanks to everyone else we met up with out there!

This first batch of photos is stuff off of my camera. I shot most of the photos, but there’s one or two that were snapped by Andrew McMullen. Part 2 will consists of photos from Andrew, Chad Moore, and Ryan Bailey, so say tuned!

Fantastic photographs! I enjoyed viewing your work, especially the black and white photos of the cityscape. Plus “8″ made me laugh…pretty funny stuff, keep up the good work!
