Ed David

Jan 6, 2010 — Brooklyn, NY

With all of the internet videos floating around online these days it’s a rarity that a single video can gain so much resonance and make a lasting impact. While countless videos dwindle out of existence in a matter of minutes, the work that Ed David has proven to be the exact opposite.

A while ago we came across a few short video pieces that instantly engaged us. The first was titled “Martin the Tailor”, a story about a Jewish tailor, and the second, “The Archive”, which focuses on the single largest personal record collection in the World. Both pieces were extremely fascinating, beautifully shot, and we had to find out who was behind such great work.

Ed David the Director of Photography was responsible for shooting both pieces and was nice enough to sit down with us in his apartment in Brooklyn, NY and divulge into his life behind the lens.
