Fuel up on Tunney…

I’m a Tunney fan. Always well thought out and well spoken.
With that said, check out a interview with him on the Fuel TV website.

Anytime the words Dan Lacey and Ty Morrow show up in my inbox, I know it’s gonna be good. This is no exception. Click below to check it out.

I’ve been stoked on the work from Cum* Collective for years. I love their super raw and gritty style and for some reason, I’m really drawn in to their sloppy stock-cap spray painting.

Since this has already been posted on thecomeup every bmxer’s cat’s goldfish will probably have seen it by now, but this is so good it warrants a post here too. Tate Roskelley must have one hell of a unique and creative mind judging by all the edits and sections he’s put out so far. He has a way of making typical spots look so fun and limitless, and doing so in a manner that is his and only his. Definitely a brilliant and refreshing section! Check it out after the jump.

I’m such a fan of Mark Weaver… dude is too good.
One of the main things I look forward to seeing whenever I check my Flickr contacts, is new Mark Weaver stuff. There has been plenty of new work being posted lately, which is awesome.
Click below to check out some of my recent favorites and click HERE for Mark’s Flickr, HERE for his print shop and HERE for the recent interview we did.

Miami based artist Jen Stark has updated her website with some new work and some fun flash elements to play with! I’ve definitely seen her stuff around the inter-web in the past years and was always very impressed. When I was down in Miami earlier this year, I happened to meet her while hanging out with some of her friends, but was unaware she was the person behind these masterpieces, haha small world!

JC sent through the first (of 3) edit of a recent trip that the Sunday crew went on.
Here’s what Jim says:
Hey! Here’s the first episode from the Sunday Swine Flu tour that we went on right after Interbike. Jake Seeley, Alex Magallan, Eric Lichtenberger, Mike Gonzalez, Tom Arkus, Francis Delapena, Jeff Z and I all went on the trip! Good times even though nearly half the crew had swine flu the whole trip. All the sections combined will play like the format of a normal video with this first section being the opening. After they’re all posted you’ll be able to download it all as one video.
Click below to check out the first part.

Incase and Arkitip teamed up with famous Parisian artist André (who has become a fixture on the ever enticing Purply diary) for their fifth installment of the Curated By series. Together they created a screen printed iPhone slider case as well as a MacBook sleeve. Searing away from his signature pink André worked with red, blue and white pallet based off the Paris flag. As usual, Incase has produced an in depth page on their site, showcasing André’s work as well as a short video promoting the project.

Some of the Etnies team went on an East Cost Shop tour hitting up local bike shops and skateparks… there’s even a dunk tank involved. The crew crew consisted of Aaron Ross, Tony Hamlin, Nathan Williams, Brian Kachinsky, Morgan Wade, Garrett Byrnes, and there’s even a few Big Daddy clips! The video was filmed by Walter Pieringer and you can watch it on the Etnies site here.

Our Friend Jay Clark, who we did a photogallery with way back in 2005 just posted a new zine on his blog Publikhair… Stoked on the black paper and scotch tape… You can check out the zine on Publikhair and if you haven’t spent time on that site, dig though the archives, there’s some gems!

I compiled a collection of my favorite interior/architecture photos that I’ve saved over the past year or so. I’m always collecting image that inspire me and I thought it would be cool to do some big inspiration dumps like this once in a while. I did the black and white post a few months back, so here’s the second post in what I hope to be a on-going series.

Photographer Chad Moore has a really good interview on ESPN conducted by Nick Ferreira. Chad talks about BMX, Florida, New York, and what it’s like working for famed photographer Ryan McGinley.

Jake Dow-Smith, who does the very well curated Triangle Triangle photo blog, has started a second site called Many Many that is a collection of found photography posted by a group of 20 amazing photographers.

A few of the Lotek guys have been in San Francisco on a trip and Rich has been updating with some rad photos.

Tom Chung, brother of Andy Chung and industrial design student at the Vancouver art school Emily Carr, has been killing the GIF scene lately. With an eye for short catchy video clips, his tumblr blog originalgifs featuring only work of his own creation has proven to be popular on ffffound as well as other tumblr sites of all things GIF.
Hit the jump for some exclusive defgrip GIF creations by Tom Chung as well as a short interview with the man and a tutorial on how to make them yourself.

Photographer Jody Rogac has updated with a new website as well as some amazing new work. Since posting on Jody over a year ago, I’ve been checking her blog on a semi-regular basis and every time I go there, she has a great collection of new photos — whether they are random snapshots or outtakes from photo shoots — the work is always well edited with impeccable taste.

Tom Perry sent over a few photos from the Biktoberfest Halloween contest that went down at the Clairemont YMCA skatepark in San Diego.

Check out a great edit with Tom Silins for Parbmx… Tom’s from Latvia and as he describes it “That’s the one next to Estonia, where the Simple Session event is held”. He also said it’s getting super cold over there and was able to get he edit done before the freezing winter weather came though. With a great Madvillain track, quality editing, and dialed riding, this edit is definitely worth a watch!

Tim Brown and Christopher Hewitt recently posted their video for Hecq Vs Exillion’s track, “Spheres Of Fury” to the delight of vimeo heads all over.
This video is so gorgeous it’s seductive. The colours are mind blowing and it has great energy throughout, definitely a dope looking piece of work.
But here’s the real kicker – the entire video was filmed on a Canon 7D. One of the best DSLR videos ever? You be the judge! Check out the video after the jump.

I came across this via It’s Nice That and had to post it here! I for some reason have a strange fascination with cityscapes and old rustic cars, and miscellaneous piles of junk.. I cant help but to snap a pic most of the time I come across a the stuff, I cant explain it! This guy doesn’t paint piles of junk, but paints old trucks that have been exposed to harsh urban environments, old store fronts, and RV’s. his paintings are spot on, I would love to get my hands on one for sure! Not only does he paint, but he is also a very clever builder! check out the Camper cart!! sweet!

Jalopnik is one of my favorite automobile websites mainly because the writing is usually pretty smart and funny, and some of the cars they feature are up my alley. This post has it all: BMX history, a Porsche, and a good laugh.
Check the post here.
Disclaimer: normally I’m not a big endorser of the whale-tail, much less a convertible, but you can’t go stuffing a Trick Star into the back seats of a coupe! Woody’s got to show this thing off.
