Looking at his work, and reading the NY Time article on him yesterday, I reallllly don’t understand what the big deal about this junkie was. Jerk off on a newspaper and hang it on a wall? Really? That’s not talent, and it’s not brilliant. It’s kind of gross, actually.

He was a spoiled rich kid who never had to work a day in his life who killed himself because he couldn’t handle the pressure of being a rich 25 year old in NYC, and he left behind a child, to boot. If he hadn’t been born rich, the world would have never heard of him, and noone would have been interested in his work, because his work was weak. The world needs less of these people. Good Riddance, I say.

I don’t get why people are so offended. I think it’s kinda funny. Not his death, but his whole conceptual art career.

Bless his soul and all of his loved ones and supporters..No matter how a person is born, rich or poor, they are a human soul with feelings and individuality..A person like Dash is one of a unique combination of electricity of nature and vision..and he will be missed..
