If you are anything like me, and you’re into packaging, you may be into this site called Lovely Package that I just stumbled upon. It showcases a bunch of random products with nice package design, along with some info.

I’m liable to buy anything if the packaging is nice, even if I don’t need it, hahaha.

Also, I’m surprised this domain name hasn’t been taken up by some gutter-minded individuals.

    Yeah, cool site.
I’d like to put my two cents here and say that the packaging of bmx products is generally average. You’d think that some of those brands that just stamp logos onto generic parts would try and use packaging as an advantage. You know some trick folding construction with decent instruction, warranty etc printed on it. I don’t know. Anything.
Odyssey put in effort with some of their stuff, and shadow do the chain-in-a-tin thing, but is there much else?
I guess it’s not that important, but I’ve always seen potential there.

I couldn’t agree more. I did some work for Beringers Bar Tab box (a while back) and thought the ball would keep rolling with packaging and other companies. There’s been a few great packaging pieces that have come out, Verde has definitely stepped up the game with their seat and headset packages! I know packaging is pricey to make happen, but done properly, it can be really effective. I hope to see BMX companies get more into it.

I haven’t seen any of the verde packaging,- I’ll keep an eye out for it. I seem to remember that fly had a bit of something going on. Nothing spectacular though. Hey some really nice shots on your site Jason btw.
