TED Talks: Larry Lessig

Culture, Technology January, 21 2009

I love TED.com. All of the talks I’ve heard so far have been so amazing, I wasn’t sure which one to post up here first. I know a lot of Defgrip readers are creative types so I thought this one would be appropriate: renowned New York lawyer Larry Lessig so eloquently points out that the law is suppressing creativity.

At 18 minutes long and with heavier content it’s certainly no Cory Nastazio interview, but I assure you it’s well worth viewing, even if only for the Manama remix.

Thanks for posting this. Ted.org is my favorite site to visit and I knew it was only a matter of time before some links to come to defgrip (only the most informed site in bmx). It’s a great way to expose your self to some amazing minds. Glad to see it on defgrip, keep up the good posts.

ted is so brilliant, the talk by luca turin on our sense of
smell was outstanding. Extremely pleased to see the grip
    endorsing such a great site…
