56 Leonard St. by Herzog & de Meuron

I came across this post on a new apartment building going up at 56 Leonard St. in the Meat Packing District in New York and I was blown away. It was designed by Herzog & de Meuron and features 145 unique floor plans, starting at an affordable (haha) $3 million and going up to a whopping $33 million! You can read about all the info on the Dezeen blog, but I can’t wait to see this building go up. It’s going to look incredible and the juxtaposition of each floor reminds me of the game Janga… Now all I have to do is figure out how to round up a few mill for a down payment…

Check out all the info and a bunch more photos on the Dezeen blog.

  1. Spectacular. Definitely destined to be the flyest address in Tribeca.

Herzog & de Meuron, Basels favourite sons… They’re the architects responsible for the proposed extension to the Tate Modern.
